Myguel Prud'homme, known as the iconic symbol Mxx (and signs his name on his art work as such), is a French Canadian artist living and working in Montréal, Québec.

Born in Mont Laurier, Québec in 1967, Prud'homme, self-proclaimed as 'innately good with his hands', has worked as a hair stylist for over twenty five years and opened his first business at the age of eighteen.

Since then, he has had two other businesses one of them having over 25 employees in the hip, bustling Plateau neighborhood of Montréal. The latter business became too large for him and he found himself being uninspired.

Prud'homme wanted to regain control of his life by selling his portion of the salon and moved to London, England for six months.

In London, he completed a journey of soul searching and he discovered an untapped artistic energy that needed to be expressed. When he returned to Montréal, he created a studio in a trendy commercial loft building overlooking the Lachine Canal, where he has concentrated predominantly on perfecting his craft.
Prud'homme is completely self taught and finds his inpiration from his emotional state.

In 2009 in his studio, he had his first art opening and he astounded even himself by selling 13 of 36 pieces.

Since the art opening, he has sold an addtional 9 pieces and has participated in two art showings affiliated with his commercial loft building. He is currently preparing for his second independent art showing in November of this year and is very pleased with his new collection.
